I'm honored to capture Milestone & Cake Smash Sessions for clients throughout Lexington, Columbia, Chapin, Newberry, and Aiken. Let's document all of those precious moments from tummy time, to gummy grins, sitting up, pulling up and of course the BIG 1st Birthday for your little one!

First Year Milestone Sessions & Babies First Year Collections
Your Baby goes through so many MASSIVE changes throughout the first year. These Sessions are designed to capture as many of the milestones as possible.
Choose from our 3, 6, 9 month, and Cake Smash sessions.
You can purchase sessions a la carte OR build your own Babies First Year Portrait Plan.
Our typical First Year Plan includes the 6 month mini session and a full 1 hour First Birthday Cake Smash.
Even if you do not have your Newborn Session with me, I'd love to document your little one's First Year!
JUST the First Birthday Cake Smash Session
First Birthday Cake Smash Sessions are a BLAST!
Our Cake Smash Sessions are a full hour session (for some little ones stranger danger has kicked in, so an hour gives your little one time to warm up!) and they include 20 digital images with printing rights.
If you have a specific theme in mind I will do my best to accommodate.....otherwise we will work together to come up with a theme or setup that perfectly suits your little one.
Cake Smash Sessions are typically done in-studio, but outdoors is definitely an option depending on weather and what you have in mind for setup.
Is your little one SUPER active? Let's chat to see if an outdoor Family Session that still focuses on your 1 year old (and you can absolutely still include a cake smash at the end of the session!), might be a better option.
Not sure about a cake? No problem! Cookies, donuts, fruit or your little one's favorite food can be used instead (I had one mom bring pancakes because her little one loved them!).
What To Expect and the Finer Details
When to Schedule your Session(s)
If you have your Newborn Session with me, I will provide some info about the First Year Plan in your image delivery email.
-I recommend reaching out to schedule 3, 6 and 9 month sessions at LEAST one month in advance (if you are interested in more than one session creating a bundle option will save you money and ensure that the later sessions are already secured).
-For First Birthday Cake Smash Sessions, I HIGHLY recommend reaching out at least 3 months in advance. Cake Smash Sessions are often done about a month BEFORE your little one's birthday (especially if you do want the images back in time to share on the actual birthday). Reaching out 3-4 months in advance of the actual birthday gives us ample time to not only schedule the session but also plan a theme or setup (and if I do need to order a backdrop that takes delivery time as well!).
That being said I do try to accommodate last minute bookings as my schedule allows.
We may just be a little more limited in what we're able to do for the setup.
SESSION DETAILS
The 3 month session is an approx 20 minute session.
The 6 month session is approximately 30 minutes.
The 9 month session is approximately 30 minutes.
The Cake Smash Session is a full 1 hour session.

Studio Details
Our studio is a cozy space. We have a great selection of props and accessories on hand. While we do have a good selection of backdrops for Cake Smash Sessions, our 3/6/9 month sessions are a bit more simplistic.
At this time we do not offer a client closet for these sessions, but we do provide a clothing guide and what to wear suggestions.
There is a lot of equipment and props in the studio. As we all know, one year olds can be VERY inquisitive. If your one year old is super active and you're not sure if a studio session is the best option, we can absolutely discuss an outdoor session instead!
Are there other options for location besides the studio?
Absolutely! I have had clients choose to do some of the Milestone Sessions in their home (babies nursery can make a great spot for the Milestone Sessions)....and outdoor sessions are always an option.
What is the benefit of the First Year Milestone Plan?
The Milestone Plan allows you to choose 2 or more sessions from our Newborn, 3/6/9 month and Cake Smash Sessions and you would receive a slight discount.
The Build Your Own Collection allows you to choose 3 or more sessions from our Maternity, Newborn, and First Year Milestones/Cake Smash offerings. The more sessions you bundle, the greater the savings.
