I'm Kristen
I have over 16 years of experience as a Maternity, Newborn and Babies 1st Year Photographer.
The anticipation of awaiting your little one's arrival, the overwhelming emotions once your little one arrives....how quickly that first year passes. I'm here to document it all for you.
Based in the Midlands of South Carolina I serve clients in Lexington, Columbia, Chapin, Blythewood, Newberry, Greenville/Spartanburg, Aiken, Charleston and all throughout SC.

I am centrally located in Chapin SC and serve ALL of South Carolina.
When should I book my Sessions?
Contact me when you are around 3-4 months for Maternity Sessions. For just a Newborn Session, you can contact me when you are around 4 months. If you are interested in both a Maternity & Newborn Session, definitely book both at the same time with my Maternity & Newborn Bundle!
I only book a limited number of due dates per month to allow for flexibility when babies arrive early or late. Securing your sessions in advance helps guarantee your spot(s) on the calendar.
Always feel free to contact me about availability. I do try to squeeze in one or two last minute bookings per month, so if your little one recently arrived feel free to contact me and I'll see if I can squeeze you in!
For 1st Birthday Sessions I recommend contacting me several months in advance to allow for theme planning time.
How do we book and do you offer a payment plan?
If you are interested in a Session with me, please just click on any of the 'Contact Me' buttons and fill out the form. I do my best to respond within 24 hours, usually much sooner!
We do offer a payment plan as well, depending on how soon your session is after contacting me.
Do you offer a Maternity & Newborn Bundle with savings?
Yes, I do! When you book both your Maternity & Newborn Sessions at the same time I offer a $50 dollar discount off the total.
I also offer a Build your Own Bundle option which allows you to save even more when you book multiple sessions at the same time (such as an Announcement, Maternity and Newborn bundle or Watch Me Grow Bundle, etc).

What are the differences between a studio newborn session and an in-home lifestyle session?
My Studio Newborn Session is a little more focused on baby (although I definitely still do parent/family poses!). This session is a little more intensive with posing of baby since I do a variety of prop and posing table setups. Safety is a priority and I always take my cues from your little one!
The Lifestyle Newborn Session is a little more focused on family images and welcoming your baby into your home. Lifestyle can be a great option for families with multiple children, since sometimes siblings can be more comfortable in their own surroundings versus in the studio. Since this session is in your home it is best if the rooms where you'd like to do most of the images get GREAT natural light.

Side Note- Lifestyle isn't just for Newborn Sessions! Maternity Sessions and Babies 6-9 month old Milestone Sessions and Motherhood Sessions could possibly work well in your home too!
What if I am interested in both a Studio Newborn Session AND a Lifestyle In-Home Newborn Session?
I have options to accommodate that! I can plan to do a Lifestyle In-Home Newborn Session and then add-on a Mini Studio Newborn Session. Contact me to discuss options.
What do your Babies 1st Year Milestone Sessions entail?
Our Milestone Sessions (3/6/9 months) are perfect for capturing babies budding personality and those gummy smiles that may or may not include a few teeth. This is such a fun stage of development and our session aims to capture that beautifully!
Our 1st Birthday Cake Smash Sessions are loads of fun! With these sessions you can either let me know if you already have a theme or setup in mind, OR we can work together to come up with a setup that suits your little one. Unless there are specific items you want to incorporate into the session, I provide all of the backdrop items. You would only need to provide the outfits (1 or 2) for your little one and the cake or food item (I can absolutely help guide you with that as well!).
What do your sessions include?
All of my sessions include digital images with printing rights (I do provide a recommended printing lab). The amount of digital images included does vary based on the session. Please refer to my Session Rates and Information page for details about what each session includes, and feel free to contact me with any questions!

She made sure we got our newborn photos done shortly after our baby came home, and we swapped our maternity session for a one-year session instead.
