this season of life for you.

Studio Newborn Sessions offer a timeless, posed, and more baby focused option. Perfect for those that want to capture those tiny newborn details in a
more stylized session.
I provide props, wraps, newborn outfits, 17 years of experience and lots of patience to ensure your babies safety and comfort throughout the newborn portrait session.
Want a more relaxed and family oriented session that perfectly documents the newborn phase in the comfort of your
own home?
This is a great option for those that have toddlers and older children that are more comfortable in their home instead of a studio setting.
Even if your home isn't what you consider 'picture perfect' this is the perfect option for those that want a more authentic and documentary approach to their newborn photography session.
General Information
When Should I book my newborn Portrait session?
I highly recommend reaching out when you are between 4 and 5 months along to secure your session.
Earlier if you would like a Maternity Session too!
*I only book a limited number of due dates per month to allow flexibility when babies are born early or late, so that is why it's best to secure your session early.*
That being said I do TRY to squeeze in a couple of last minute bookings per month, but it is never guaranteed.
How old should baby be at the time of the session?
I typically try to do Newborn Sessions when baby is between 8 and 18 days old. That being said, I do take into account ALL the things. Whether baby is born early or late, birth weight, jaundice or other concerns, if a C-Section was involved and how Mom is feeling after the birth, etc!
Do you provide props, and outfits for my Newborn?
Can parents provide our own items?
I do have a great selection of props, swaddles, headbands, some hats, and some little outfits for your Newborn!
Studio Sessions do have a say in what props I may use for their little one.
Parents may bring along a couple of sentimental items, as well as their own outfit or two for baby. I do not guarantee that we will be able to use it all, but I do try to use what I can depending on how baby does.
For Lifestyle Sessions, I do bring along a couple of props (usually a crate and/or a basket) and some swaddles. The Lifestyle Session includes more simplistic prop setups.

What if I want both the Studio Style Images AND
a Lifestyle In-Home Session?
Our custom build your own plan allows you to get the best of both worlds! I work with you and your vision(s) for the sessions to come up with a plan to accommodate. Most of my clients choose a Lifestyle In-Home Session and then add-on a Petite Studio Session. We absolutely work with what YOU envision though! Please feel free to reach out and we will come up with the perfect bundle option for your family.
What is the advantage of booking a Maternity & Newborn Bundle OR the Build Your Own Collection Plan?
Our Maternity & Newborn Bundle saves you $50 dollars when you book both your Maternity & Newborn Session at the same time. You can choose any of our Studio options OR a Lifestyle option for the Newborn Session and then add-on a 30 minute or full 1 hour Maternity Session.
The Build Your Own Collection lets you choose 3 or more sessions from all of the sessions we offer (Pregnancy Announcement, Maternity, Newborn, and you can choose from any of our Milestone/Cake Smash Sessions too!). The more sessions you book at the same time, the greater the savings and we do work out a payment plan as well.
